The brief

A local optical shop, built to stand next to Warby Parker.

Corvus is an eyewear company based in Ensenada, Baja California. They'd launched a few early campaigns, but none had gained real traction. They came to us for a rebrand and a new market position: a clear brand and a go-to-market strategy that could win Ensenada first and then scale across Mexico. The goal was to turn a small optical shop into a serious competitor to brands like Ben & Frank and Warby Parker.

The Challenge

Ensenada is a small city with shifting tastes and a strong street-market culture, where knockoffs are everywhere, which makes it notoriously hard to launch and sustain a premium product. And as a border city, people are used to crossing to the US for new experiences and products. So our first move was to bring that brand and shopping experience to Ensenada, so people wouldn't need to cross the border for it.

The outcome

Premium eyewear, no border crossing required.

Corvus now has a brand that holds its own next to the names people used to cross the border for. A clear identity, a showroom that feels like a destination, and a photographic style that carries into every campaign. Plus a strategy built to win Ensenada first and scale from there. The shop is still small. The brand isn't.
