The brief

Business in the front. Party in the back.

Mullets is a fried chicken restaurant with a bold American twist. Its concept is a playful tribute to the iconic haircut and the backyard culture of the American South. The owners asked us to design the space: a large restaurant and bar, indoors and out, that would turn that raw, irreverent charm into a place people want to stay in, not just eat in.

The outcome

Every corner tells a story. Most of them are funny.

Mullets opened as a large-scale restaurant and bar where the food is only half the reason to come. Indoor and outdoor areas flow into each other, with spaces for games, spaces to slow down, and spaces for loud nights with big groups. It's a Southern-inspired playground that invites people to settle in and stay a while.
